Proven Software using DAML for KMS...?

I'm investigating the org-wide roll-out of an intelligent KMS. Many more specs involved in this decision, but for now i'd like to know of anyone's view/opinion/experience or other sites that may have some feedback/information on the use of DAML in KMS.

Is there any proven software/apps available that use DAML in KMS?
How does DAML measure up against conventional code in KMS?

Any info would be well regarded.
